Each one of our frames are handmade from reclaimed wood, from a part of history. They are made from the front porch of gossip well-told, from a wall piece of sweet remembrance from the room of a child and from the ceilings and floors of echoes heard.

Each frame is entirely unique. Each is an original piece with its own width, coloration and character markings. Frame mats are available with or without expressions, since each frame is custom crafted. We are happy to write your own expression.

At Face to Face we create designs that house memories and contain clean classic-lines strengthen by time. The frames, crosses and designs have the dust and color left by history. Face to Face Framing is located close enough to the ocean to hear the ship horns as they enter the inter-coastal waters of St. Simons Island, Georgia. Our work is sophisticated with play, a southern root with a Hamptons style that is a mixture of classic and daring- french country to altogether urban. We are not a mass production shop. Each piece is one of a kind and is the result of the combined talents of John and Brigitte McKeown and partners Felix Qurinio, and America Ferrier. We are guided and directed by Chrissy Jonston and branded and styled by Catherine Slade. Our designs are artful extensions of each of us. We begin with selected repurposed wood, strengthen, dusted and colored by history. Then, we add individual style and passion to hand craft our frames, crosses, and joyful ornaments. The result is pieces of art and time that are beauty-full and soul-full.
